If you have a party or gathering and you want to make it feel extra special, then consider investing in some elegant cookie tins, perhaps some smaller ones so it still fits your budget. The great thing about cookie tins is that, well, whatever you put inside, it almost automatically gives the impression that it’s something special. Heck, even if your cookies don’t taste good (though I sure hope they do), the cookie tins are enough to influence the first impression of the recipient. This is certainly something that you’ll want to keep in mind, though I know that it’s often a challenge to find a good supplier, but I’m sure there are several good suppliers out there. Another option is to insert some kind of souvenir inside the cookie tin, maybe a bead bracelet or something of that sort. And finally, another variation is simply putting a sticker on the cookie tin, with your name and message, in order to really remember you by. So it’s a recyclable container and a token of remembrance all in one.
I’m sure that you can think of several other ways to use cookie tins. It doesn’t have to be as the name implies, always for cookies. After all, cookie tins now come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, and it just depends on your imagination on how you’re going to use them. I still have a strong preference for the traditional association with baking goodies, that’s for sure, but we don’t need to be tied there now do we? Try thinking out of the box!
